‘The Best Connection’ are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cabin Fitter to join our client in Aylesford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a range of general maintenance skills looking to start immediately and work towards a permanent position.
Key information:
* Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
* Start/finish time: 08:00-16:30
* Break: 60 minutes per day
* Salary: £13.67 per hour // £20.51 per hour after 40 hours
* Temp to perm opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual preparation of cabins for painting
* Basic plumbing tasks
* Fitting windows and doors
* General maintenance and repair work
* Use of power tools for various tasks
* Removing and replacing flooring
* Fitting and removing wall and ceiling panels
* Ensuring all work meets high standards and customer expectations
Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Proficient in the use of power tools
* Good understanding of basic plumbing and general maintenance
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
