Contract: Permanent, full or part time (minimum of 28 hours working either 4 or 5 days per week)

Set within a unique high street, our charity shop in Wilmslow welcomes loyal customers and generous donations, supporting our mission to care for animals in need along with their owners.
As a Shop Manager, you will establish this role within the local community, sourcing quality fashion, accessories, and homeware from donations to regenerate and find new homes!
More about the role
Working with the Assistant Manager, you will recruit, train, and support our loyal volunteers to ensure smooth and efficient shop operations. You must be confident in promoting and showcasing our work to increase volunteer and donor engagement.
You will oversee daily activities, support visual merchandising, and plan strategies to improve stock quality and quantity to grow our business.
Using your retail management experience, you will help the store thrive locally. Ideally, you are a local with strong connections and ideas for engaging with customers.
Your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer service. The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 09:00-17:00, with working patterns subject to business needs.
About you
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
* Commercial awareness to deliver sales
* Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability
* Good IT skills and basic finance understanding
Desirable:
* Full driving license
* Experience working with volunteers
* Fundraising experience
