Are you a Civil Engineering Technician based in London? Do you specialise in transport and highway design?
I am excited to annouce our client is looking for a motivated Highways CAD Technician to join their team in London. They are a specialist transport planning consultancy that works across several development planning projects, from gallery extensions to garden villages, new ports and even sporting complexes. As a consultancy, they are fully invested in the development and progression of all employees.
The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in highway design and be proficient with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities
* Assisting Project Partner/Project Managers with the delivery of design work and assisting the design team;
* Producing preliminary/concept Junction designs including priority junctions, ghost island arrangements, and roundabouts;
* Reviewing site layout including, visibility, margins, footways, carriageway widths etc;
* Producing swept path analysis and vehicle tracking;
* Undertake accompanied site visits with Project Managers
* Interpret traffic, speed, and topo survey to inform highway designs;
* Input into technical reports including Stage 1 RSA brief and designer's response;
