Bly House is a two-bed, Ofsted registered children\ \\'s home providing immediateintervention and trauma-informed therapeutic support. Over a 12 week placement, our young people are given security, support, and stabilisation in a nurturing and peaceful environment. Every placement provides PACE principle residential care, access to education and participation in outdoor/adventure activities. A minimum 12 months experience in a children\ \\'s residential care homeA level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion)A full driving licence issued in the UKA keen interest in outdoor and adventure activitiesApplicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictionsIn depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA etc.)Values in line with Esland\ \\'s, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcareDue to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or aboveSuccessful employment is subject to satisfactory Full Enhanced Disclosure, right to work and reference checks in line with government regulations and Safer Recruitment Practices (the company will cover the costs).All young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way.
