Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a talented Real Estate Associate with a minimum of 1 year of PQE to join our high-performing Transactional Real Estate team in Leeds. In this role, you will support a diverse range of real estate work for FTSE 100 clients and significant local businesses, including the sale and purchase of investment properties, property management, and acting for national developers and occupiers across various sectors.
The Team
Our Real Estate Group is one of the largest within the firm, comprising nearly 200 professionals, including 6 partners and over 40 fee earners in our Leeds office. The Transactional Real Estate team is Tier 1 ranked and has received accolades as the Real Estate Team of the Year at both the Yorkshire Property Insider Awards and the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards in 2023. We pride ourselves on our transactional expertise and a business-oriented approach to property matters.
What to Expect:
* Work as part of principal client account teams on market-leading deals across a wide spectrum of commercial property work, including landlord and tenant matters, property management, sales and purchases, and development.
* Engage with top investors, developers, and occupiers, including well-known entities like Aviva, British Land, and various local authorities.
* Maintain and develop relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor capable of providing timely and quality advice.
* Collaborate within a cohesive team to execute high-value client matters to the highest standard.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* A minimum of 1+ year of experience in commercial real estate.
* Strong enthusiasm, resilience, and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges.
* Experience in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
* A consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
* Efficient diary and task management skills, ensuring accuracy and high client service levels.
* Confidence in drafting clear and legally effective documents.
* Ability to remain calm and optimistic under pressure.
* A keen interest in developing your legal skill set and continuous learning.
* Inquisitiveness about our clients and their drivers to provide impactful advice.
