An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Haringey is looking to appoint a passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join its successful and well-established Languages department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a newly qualified teacher (ECT) or an experienced practitioner looking for their next challenge.

The Role – MFL Teacher
1. Deliver inspiring MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with specialisms in French and/or Spanish welcome.
2. Develop schemes of learning that challenge, support, and engage all learners, tailored to individual learning needs.
3. Encourage curiosity and cross-cultural understanding through creative and interactive teaching methods.
4. Monitor progress through effective assessment and provide meaningful feedback to support student development, ensuring inclusive education for all students.
5. Participate in departmental planning and collaborate with colleagues to share best practice.
6. Offer or support extracurricular language initiatives such as clubs, exchanges, or trips.
7. Play an active role in the wider school community and contribute to its inclusive ethos.
Who We’re Looking For – MFL Teacher
1. A qualified teacher with QTS (or in the process of gaining it) and a subject specialism in MFL.
2. Strong knowledge of curriculum content and strategies to support learners of all abilities.
3. An enthusiastic and reflective teacher who brings fresh ideas and a student-centred approach.
4. A clear communicator with strong classroom presence and behaviour management.
5. Someone who shares the school’s values of equity, ambition, and collaboration.
6. Willingness to engage in wider school life and ongoing professional learning.
7. ECTs are welcome and will receive excellent induction and mentorship support.
