Mac Recruit Group are representing a very reputable UK wide Energy & Waste Management company. Based in a suburb just outside of Bristol, the EC&I Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation equipment critical to the operation of the facility. EC&I Technician duties & responsibilities: Perform preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems. Troubleshoot and resolve faults in equipment such as motors, sensors, actuators, control panels, and PLC systems. Inspect and maintain safety-critical systems, including emergency shutdown systems and alarms. Monitor and update control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Ensure all instrumentation and control systems are accurate and reliable to optimize plant performance. EC&I Technician requirements: Proven experience in electrical, control, and instrumentation maintenance within an industrial or process environment. Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA systems, and control loop tuning. Understanding of instrumentation principles, including calibration and fault finding.
