INFORMATION
Foyle Campsie situated at Lisahally require a Despatch Operative. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest Red Meat processing Companies in the UK and Ireland.
The successful candidate will be part of a busy despatch team, supporting the day to day running of the Despatch Department, contributing to ensuring that the appropriate documentation is completed and will also assist in ensuring that strict deadlines are met whilst complying with customer specifications, meat quality, hygiene standards and health and safety requirements.
Essential Criteria:
•Ability to cope with manual handling tasks
•A good communicator who takes pride in their work and takes a team-orientated approach to working within a busy environment
•Ability to work on own initiative
•Ability to work within health and safety guidelines
•Flexible approach to working hours
Desirable Criteria:
•Previous experience of using Counterbalance FLT, Reach FLT and Shunter
•Previous experience of working in a despatch environment
•Food hygiene qualification
Hours of work:
Monday to Friday – early shift commencing at 8am to 1630 and a late shift commencing at 10am to 1830 – some additional weekend work and dispatch cover on public holidays completed on a rotational basis.
