PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS BY CV TEACHING & LEARNING ASSISTANT /Individual Needs Assistant - C GRADE - Fixed Term Contract We are looking to appoint a C Grade innovative Teaching & Learning Assistant/INA (Individual Needs Assistant) to undertake a varied and interesting role from September 2020. The main focus of the role would be to provide support to a year 10 pupil with specific physical needs. You will need to be willing to follow and deliver a bespoke programme of Personal and Intimate Care and physiotherapy and undertake training in manual handling and hoisting. You would also have the opportunity to undertake a small group and in class activities to support the learning of a wide range of pupils with SEND (Special Educational Needs). Many of our Teaching & Learning Assistants have undertaken training opportunities provided and have gone on to careers in teaching. The hours of work are 27.5 hours per week, term time only (46.94 weeks), Fixed term for one year. This equates to 5.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday inclusive, 8.25am to 2.50pm. (Lunch and break covers are available one week/3 lunch and break covers the following week). The salary scale for this post is Scale 5 Point 22-25 currently £21,589-£23,836, full-time equivalent. The pro rata salary range is £14,484-£15,992 per annum. The actual starting salary for the successful candidate will be £14,484 per annum.
