Background
As one of the world's largest networks of audit, tax, and consulting firms, RSM delivers big ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. We are a fast-growing firm with big ambitions—our goal is to become the premium adviser to the middle market globally. This vision motivates us to improve continuously. If you want to build a future and make an impact, RSM is the place for you.
Team
We seek a Senior Tax Manager to join our in-house tax team within the National Finance Office (NFO). Reporting to the CFO and Finance Partner, you will deliver premium service related to tax affairs and compliance for our partnerships and partners. Your attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines will ensure partners' tax obligations are met efficiently. The NFO handles all internal financial matters, with main hubs in Preston and Crawley. A hybrid working arrangement is possible, with regular contact with the CFO or Finance Partner. Building strong relationships within the Finance team and taking ownership of partner and partnership tax processes are essential.
Overall job purpose
Manage all aspects of RSM partnership and partners' tax compliance within NFO, ensuring timely and accurate completion for 10 LLPs and approximately 400 partners. Liaise with HMRC on personal tax matters as needed. Support the CFO and Finance Partner in preparing governance documentation and providing advice on partnership tax issues, such as Salaried Member rules.

* Assist with partnership withholding tax claims.
* Prepare charity and trust tax returns.
* Create policy documentation for risk management and process improvement.
* Delegate work to the Partnership Tax Assistance team, supporting their development.
