Teacher Required for Maternity Cover - SEN School in Bournemouth
Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated full-time class teacher to join one of our special educational needs (SEN) schools in Bournemouth. This is a maternity cover position for the remainder of the academic year, starting after February half term.
About the School: The school caters to secondary-aged pupils with autism and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Role:
1. Position: Full-time class teacher (Maternity Cover)
2. Start Date: After February half term
3. End Date: End of the academic year
4. Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering a tailored curriculum to meet the needs of students with autism and SEMH
2. Supporting students in their academic and social development
3. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for students
4. Managing a positive and supportive classroom environment
Requirements:
1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
2. Prior experience with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
