Job Description Summary You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Permit To Work process including Risk Assessment & Method Statement approval and Contractor Audits, supporting maintenance related activities, to enable ‘best-service’ to all internal customers and the production process. Job Description Job Description As a Permit Coordinator you will be responsible for creating compliant permits and work packs to allow our contractual team to safely conduct emergency and planned repair work. Job Responsibilities • Ensure strict implementation of permit to work rules at work locations. • Ensure all Environmental, Health and Safety documentation is reviewed prior to contractor(s) coming on site. • Raise appropriate security passes for any contractor coming on site. • Audit the permit to work procedure and ensure compliance on a daily basis. • Provide a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates and ensure all the necessary signatures have been obtained. • Maintain the permit process to reflect the current status of all permitted work and isolations. This includes: maintaining the permit digital worksheet and High Risk Operations display board. • Take a lead role in ensuring simultaneous operations (SIMOPs) are not compromised by the issue of conflicting permits. • Coach and mentor staff. • Ensure that permit to work updates/changes are effectively communicated to all relevant personnel. • Take part and contribute meaningfully during permit to work review meetings. • Ensure permits are completed and signed off at the end of the existing work-scope. • Save all audit reports to specified folder. • Insert all confirmed contractor attendance onto Maintenance Weekly Operating work-sheet. Qualifications/ Experience • Permit to Work and Lock Out Tag Out experience. • Experience in Hazard identification, Risk Management including Risk Assessments. • Knowledge of Operations, Facilities and Maintenance activities. • Contractor supervision experience.
