Multi-Skilled Engineer

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work for a manufacturing company based in Borehamwood.
The company has over 60 years of experience in their specialist industry supplying high-quality products to customers globally.
As the Multi-Skilled Engineer it will be your responsibility to carry out maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of equipment.
Multi - Skilled Engineer Job Role:
* Completion of maintenance, calibration, repairs, set-up of production and utility equipment ensuring all relevant guidelines and practices.
* Be able to work under pressure in sometimes complex conditions / scenarios / environments to provide a methodical and calm approach to problem solving
* Ensure the maintenance and use of regulatory and non-regulatory documentation (i.e., work orders, calibration records, equipment logbooks etc.) for all aspects of the job, are undertaken with a right first-time approach.
* Take responsibility for own training records and development records to ensure regulatory compliance
* Drive continuous improvement in all engineering processes and procedures through knowledge
* Ensure work is organised through H&S policies, guidelines, Risk Assessments, Method statements, Permits and safe systems of work.
* Make technical decisions relating to engineering tasks and their impact on Operations, seeking guidance where necessary.
Multi - Skilled Engineer Working Hours:
* 12 hour shift rotating days/nights, 4 on 4 off.
* 4 days on, 4 rest days, 4 nights on, 4 rest days
Multi - Skilled Engineer Skills Required:
* Ability to perform Engineering and Maintenance activities on utilities:
* Sterile Steam Systems
* Purified and Sterile Water Systems
* Clean Room Environments
* HVAC systems
* Building Management Systems
* Ability to perform Engineering and Maintenance activities to a on Process Equipment:
* Filling line Equipment
* Clean in place systems
* Filtration and Chromatography Units
* Centrifugation systems
* Packing lines
* HNC or equivalent formal qualification in main discipline
* Full indentured apprenticeship with experience
* 17th/18th Edition certificate
* Experience within Manufacturing Food or Brewery or Dairy or petrochemical
* Previous experience with a pharmaceutical environment is a huge advantage
