Our Wealth manager client had an opening for a Sales Development Manager They are a leading financial wellbeing and retirement specialist - helping those in the workplace to improve their financial future. The successful candidates will be home-based. Whilst there is no specific location required, most work will be South-East based and they must be willing and able to travel as required, including holding a full driving licence. A snapshot of the role: - The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new profitable corporate in financial wellbeing and retirement sectors, selling education programs, digital capabilities, and workplace ISAs. They will also have line management responsibilities for two New Business Executives, including coaching, mentoring and performance management. Deliver new business sales targets as defined by Head of Client Development. Develop and manage the new business contact plan to support the delivery of sales targets activities to Manage the follow up of all financial wellbeing and retirement related new business leads to arrange initial and follow up appointments, It is essential that candidates: - We seek candidates with strong experience in a consultant lead sales environment managing new business activity. Ideally, from an employment benefit consultant and/or a business development background and used to selling their services, including RFPs, networking, speaking at events, etc. Essential is a really good pensions knowledge They should also have proven line management experience, particularly in mentoring junior sales staff.
