Key Stage 2 Teacher Full time, Permanent Salary: Teachers Main - Upper Scale, £31650 - £49084 per annum Start date : September 2025 Woodfield Academy are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our Middle School starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be part of the KS2 team and will predominantly teach one class in either Year 5 or 6. We are adopting a primary model for KS2 and welcome applications from teachers with a primary background. The subjects taught will be English, Maths, PSHRE, Geography, History, RE, languages and Science with responsibility for the class as a tutor group. The remainder of the timetable will be to specialise in one subject or to gain experience with KS3 teaching. Foundation subjects of PE, Music, DT and Art are taught by our specialist teachers in other areas of the school. Pupils will be taught in the same classroom for the main subjects, so you will have a space to make your own and to engage the pupils. Woodfield Academy joined the Bordesley MAT from Easter 2022. We work closely with Trinity High School, Birchensale Middle School and Holyoaks First School in a very localised MAT focusing on the development of children in Redditch. Working together as part of the three-tier system we aspire to improve the educational offer for the local community.
