The Wealth Planning Training and Competence Manager is responsible for overseeing and supervising the Advisers within the firm.
Reporting to the Head of Compliance and working alongside the Compliance Manager, you will be working positively with advisers to ensure the efficient implementation of the FCA's Training and Competence requirements. This will include building personalised training plans for new and existing advisers within the firm, conducting observations and 1-1 meetings while maintaining the highest standard of record keeping in line with the firm's T&C plan.
This varied and challenging role is ideal for experienced T&C supervisors who are looking to join a young, dynamic, and growing business at an early stage in its development. As well as experience in investment and retirement planning, you are likely to be well qualified.
The T&C Manager will occupy an important position within the firm and will need to be highly conscientious and responsible. They will play a key part in ensuring that our advice is of the highest quality and is delivered by well-trained advisers to clients that are delighted with the end product. They will also be central in identifying and remedying any issues arising with our processes.
The ability to build positive relationships with staff, particularly advisers, is essential. The T&C Manager will be the first port of call for Technical and Compliance queries from the advisers, and it is important that the T&C Manager can use these positive relationships to ensure staff are willing and able to ask for help where required.
