Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join the team.
What you will be doing:
* Working closely with the senior management team, you will be responsible for the management of the finance team and all aspects of finance for both sites.
* Produce all weekly, monthly, and annual management and financial reporting including year-end statutory accounts, developing new systems as appropriate to gain efficiencies, speed of output, and standardisation of presentation.
* Ensure that the accounting records and financial control procedures are maintained at a level which meets all internal, group, and external audit requirements.
* Produce long-term plans, budgets, and forecasts to map and analyse the performance of the Company.
* Monitor cash flow and currency requirements, providing cash flow forecasting as required.
What you will need to succeed:
* Qualified/Part Qualified with a recognised professional accounting body (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE accompanied by a good general standard of education.
* Experience of credit and transactional management is desirable with the ability to prioritise and organise a large workload.
* A good general understanding of IT systems and software, with proficiency in MS Excel being of particular importance.
