The Salisbury Information Services team are looking for a Senior Informatics Business Partner to join their team of experienced and friendly data professionals. The successful post holder will heavily support the ambition to drive data literacy and data governance across the Trust, be responsible for embedding the use of self-service Business Intelligence (BI) and engaging divisions to provide analytical insight and guide them toward data driven decision making. They will have responsibility for supporting the continued implementation and improvement of the business intelligence tool for the Trust (Power BI) and line managing an Informatics Reports Developer who will support them in their Business Partner role.
This role will specifically support the Trust's Medicine Division as their BI Business Partner which is one of four clinical divisions in the Trust.
There will be a requirement to liaise heavily with departments and feedback findings, providing rich informative analysis that will highlight and contribute toward potential areas of improvement across the Trust. The post-holder will therefore need to be an engaging and enthusiastic individual, confident in leading a workshop or presentation scenario.

* Degree or equivalent in numerical subject, and evidence of continuing professional development
* Advanced level of statistical knowledge at Level 7 or experience of working at this level in making judgements regarding the reliability of data, identification of trends and special/normal cause variation
* At least 3 years' experience in information analysis and interpretation
* Experience relevant to working in an acute Trust.
* Significant experience and knowledge of using Power BI, specifically report development.
* Proficient in using SQL for data extraction and able to interpret data using various methods e.g., Excel pivot tables and formulae.
* An expert knowledge of NHS reporting, structures, content and data standards.
* Good knowledge of SPC charts and associated methodology.
* Proficient in the design and use of business intelligence solutions, ideally within PowerBI and SharePoint
* Good knowledge of advanced features of Microsoft Excel 2010, including writing complex formulae, pivot tables and lookups, to manipulate and present data.
* Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise own work within agreed deadlines.
