Our client:
1. A UK leading civil engineering contractor specialising within water and waste water.
What you’ll be doing:
1. This role brings an opportunity to lead and manage multi-disciplinary design teams in the delivery of essential infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage design activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors, to deliver effective design solutions.
3. Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for the design process.
4. Ensure designs meet health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a safety-first culture.
5. Provide technical leadership and guidance to the design team, mentoring junior team members.
6. Conduct design reviews and manage the quality assurance process.
What you will need to be successful:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering, Design Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in design management within the infrastructure, utilities, or water sector.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
4. Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
5. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
