There is an immediate opportunity for an experience management accountant to join our Rotherham based client for an interim contract for initial 3-5 months. The role will work closely with the Finance Director and supporting them through the year end process. The role requires an individual who is either part or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent, or qualified by experience.
Key responsibilities will include:

Production of monthly management accounts.
*
Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.
*
Preparing month end accounting adjustments.
*
Managing bank, creditor and debtor ledgers and dealing with queries regarding payments or receipts.
*
Assisting with the preparation of consolidated reporting for Group.
*
Variance Analysis.
*
Intercompany reconciliation.
*
Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements.
*
Ad hoc project support.
*
Liaising with auditors.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:

Ideally part / newly qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
*
Strong excel skills, with good overall IT skills, working knowledge of Sage line 50 would be advantageous but not essential.
