Administration Assistant
Location: Clifton Park TC, York
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Full-time

Summary:
Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose-built hospital has been rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has first-class medical facilities including 24 beds, two theatres, a day case unit, a large outpatient department with X-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy, including a small gym area. In 2018, the hospital opened a new outpatient department with 11 consulting rooms, two treatment rooms and x-ray facilities.
The role:
We currently have a great new opportunity for a Administration Assistant to join our team at Clifton Park Hospital based in York. You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. You will provide non-clinical support for the ward manager to assist in all non-clinical essential functions.
The team is extremely busy and needs someone with proven high-quality customer service skills, a commitment to focusing on accuracy and delivery whilst maintaining the necessary speed to ensure all tasks are completed daily.
You must be committed to upholding hospital policies and procedures and be fully IT proficient. Duties include:
* Meet and Greet patients coming in for out-patient clinics
* Manage worklists within the scope of the role (Maxims and e-RS)
* Ensure all clinic cancellations are dealt with in real time
* Rota reconciliation - ensuring that Maxims correlates to the rota
* Chasing Medical Questionnaires from patients to enable them to move to the next stage
* Dealing with correspondence from the nursing team relating to patients
Skills & Attributes:
* A warm, considerate and empathetic character
* Previous Admin experience
* Ability to make decisions and use your initiative
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - face to face, via email and telephone.
* Fast and efficient computer skills
* Passion to deliver excellent customer service
* Excellent multi-tasking skills
