As part of our growing team, the Senior Analyst, Investment Data will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality data is available to our investment teams to make informed, timely decisions that directly impact our members’ outcomes. The Role This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to and shape data practices within our Investment Data team, part of the newly formed Data Services division. Working closely with the Manager of Investment Data, you will support data management activities crucial to the fund's success, such as capturing, maintaining, and enhancing Investment Data that fuels our decision-making. From improving data workflows and supporting end-to-end data governance to leading key data initiatives, this role is designed for those who seek to make a tangible impact through their expertise. Key Responsibilities Investment Data Oversight Ensure data integrity and accuracy in investment data management, working to maintain high standards across different books of record (ABOR, IBOR, TBOR). Collaborate with various internal teams (Front Office, Operational, and Project) to validate data requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet business needs. Address data quality issues swiftly, acting as a key escalation point for complex data-related challenges. Stakeholder Collaboration Engage proactively with internal stakeholders to negotiate data packages, establish clear SLAs, and ensure alignment with business needs. Foster relationships across departments to keep all stakeholders informed, working collaboratively to resolve issues and enhance data processes. Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing Mentor and support Data Analysts, creating opportunities for skill development and process improvement. Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization, championing best practices and leading initiatives to improve operational efficiencies. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking an experienced investment data professional who is ready to bring their knowledge and drive to our dynamic team. Your background in investment management or asset ownership, coupled with your technical expertise in data management, will make you an invaluable resource in our global, data-centric operations. You have a knack for detail, a proactive problem-solving approach, and are comfortable navigating complex data systems. We’re particularly interested in candidates who are well-versed in investment data tools and platforms (such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv), as well as those who bring additional skills in Python, SQL, and Power BI.
