Pinnacle Group is looking for an Experienced Caretaker to ensure our buildings and facilities are well-maintained and secure. You will be joining our Affordable Housing Team based in Beeston - Leeds. The Affordable Housing team operates a large mixed portfolio of new and existing Affordable homes nationwide comprising Affordable and Social Rent, Shared Ownership, and Supported homes. This new Extra Care development in Beeston, Leeds comprises 63 independent apartments for residents who may have low, medium, or high care needs. The Care will be provided by an on-site care provider and the scheme manager will coordinate all our services to enhance the quality of life for residents. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, managing repairs, ensuring security protocols are followed, and keeping the premises clean and orderly. You will need to be proactive, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The core hours of work are 9.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday. Key responsibilities will include: Carry out minor repairs and decoration works, including plumbing, carpentry and electrical. Deep / Scheduled / Reactive Cleaning (when required) using cleaning materials and consumables as directed ensuring usage instructions are followed accordingly. Carry out investigations into reactive requests relating to deficiencies in accommodation and where necessary notify management of the need to call a Service Provider. Assisting with set up & set down for leisure and sporting events including 3 rd parties for privately booked spaces/pitches. Emergency response to situations that may arise (floods, bodily fluids, etc) Key requirements: Experience in cleaning services and cleaning equipment Have a range of general handyman / DIY skills with the ability to multi-task Experience of working within a fast-paced environment Good verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate well with parties on all levels Please Note: The appointment of this role will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS) Our offer The more diverse our workforce, the better we can adapt to and reflect the needs of our customers.
