Job Summary
We are seeking level 2 and 3 qualified nursery practitioners to join our growing team. As a nursery practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children within our care. Your duties will include engaging with children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring well-being needs are met.
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare
* 8:00am - 6:00pm
* 4 - 5 days per week
Duties:
* Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
* Undertake observational assessments for a small group of key children
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development
* Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
* Assist with meal times, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
* Change nappies and assist with potty training as needed
* Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
* Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
* Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children
Skills:
* Experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
* Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
* Ability to drive the learning process by planning and implementing educational activities
* Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
* Proficient in English language
* Ability to work as part of a team
