We are looking for an immediately available Intermediate QS to provide services to one of our Chemical Manufacturing Clients in Teesside.
Pre-event Responsibilities:
1. Subcontractor engagement to ensure Purchase orders are in place for all contractors prior to attending site.
2. Develop a Change management process for cost control.
3. Ensure names of individuals for each contract company are known in advance and all training certification obtained and passed to stakeholders.
4. Invoices - verification of versus timesheets.
5. Verification of third party contractor Payment applications.
6. Weekly Daywork sheets collation and cross checking for contact organisations.
7. Monitor KPIs alongside Contractor.
8. Prepare registers to track third party costs, hired equipment, subcontracts etc.
9. Monitor cost estimates for Project / TAR costs.
10. Help produce weekly reports to monitor costs.
During Event / Project Execution Responsibilities:
1. Ensure all costs associated with TAR execution are captured within the cost estimate.
2. Provide detailed cost reports so that committed and forecast expenditure can be effectively controlled against budget.
3. Provide analysis of variations from pre-event estimates.
4. Ensure emergent work costs are monitored and reported.
5. Monitor relevant cost information to enable a final cost report to be produced.
6. Issue final cost report.
7. Record spend against budget costs (PPE, tooling, consumables etc.).
Post Event / Post Project Responsibilities:
1. Monitor costs beyond the event to ensure all costs are correctly allocated.
2. Alongside customer & contractor agree final KPI performance & pain/gain position if applicable.
3. Produce final total cost report.
4. Produce a report of the effectiveness of the cost management process and opportunities for improvement.
