Career Advancement: Based on your aspirations, performance, and business needs, you may have the opportunity to progress to an HNC in Year 4. Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire Duration: 3 Years Working Hours: Full-time, 39 hours (in company) Key Responsibilities: Maintain and efficiently utilize manufacturing hardware and associated software. Introduce, increase and utilize the knowledge that you will gain, to help Sartorius develop within the manufacturing field. Investigation into developments within the manufacturing technologies field. Investigate and take advantage of the development opportunities offered by 3D printing and new manufacturing technologies around the Sartorius group. Support industrialized design for new products in development at the concept / feasibility phase. Process development and qualification for technologies entering in-house production. Support other teams around the group to implement and utilize manufacturing technologies. Materials research for the characterisation and qualification of plastic materials. Support the team in ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations. Engage in problem-solving activities. What will convince us A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C/9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics, English, and a Science. Ability and willingness to travel to the GET (Gloucestershire Engineering Training centre) in Gloucester. A keen interest in engineering and a commitment to developing skills in this area. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication abilities and a team player mindset. An interest in 3D printing.
