Research Fellow in Integrated Sexual Health (ST1)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated doctor to work in Barts Health NHS Trust Sexual Health Services as a research clinical fellow in a 12 month fixed term post, to commence in mid February 2025. The main portion of the post holder's job plan will, after training, be to work in the research clinical trials unit on sexual health and HIV related studies. We offer services 6 days a week including evening clinics. Barts Health has a cohort of approximately 5,000 HIV positive patients who are diverse in terms of ethnicity, sexuality and gender. We also see a high proportion of late presenters as in-patients.
The post is suitable for those interested in pursuing a career in Genitourinary Medicine or Community Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. This post will provide a fantastic chance to gain wide clinical and research experience, excellent supervision and many teaching and training opportunities in integrated sexual health.
Previous experience in the specialties would be an advantage but is not necessary as training will be given.
We intend to interview in January 2025.
