We are looking for suitable experienced and qualified persons to ujndertake local authority contract work within children's services.
Working from various bases around the County, the role will involve a lot of travelling throughout County Durham to undertake meetings, home visits and do door knocks to young people identified as NEET, around all parts of County Durham.
You will need to have transport as some areas are inaccessible by bus, and mileage allowance is available. A level two in youth work or related topic is also required.
Each day would be varied, so you would need to be flexible in terms of travel, in set timeframes and would need to confidently work in isolation as well as part of a team.
There are both part time and full time hours available and there is potential for this to become a permanent contract with the authority.
