Application Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience as a Reception Teacher, with strong phonics knowledge
* Confidence in managing a classroom and delivering engaging lessons
* Enthusiastic and positive attitude, in line with the school’s cheerful environment
* Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply
* Passion for supporting young learners in their early development
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective phonics lessons as part of the Reception curriculum
* Plan and prepare lessons that support the development of early literacy and numeracy skills
* Work collaboratively with the other teachers in the team to ensure consistency and support across classes
* Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that encourages pupils’ curiosity and love for learning
* Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of pupils, ensuring all learners are supported in their development
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers about pupil progress and well-being
* Participate in school activities and events, contributing to the wider school community
