Description · To keep accurate records of goods inbound · Proactively manage all stock movement documentation, in line with agreed process and procedures. · To update the systems with relevant data, because of operational /pallet transactions. · To liaise with customers, haulier’s and internal customers on all issues relating to the operation. · Maintain WMS database and schedules with no effect to the service levels and stock integrity. · To print out labels and manifests for goods inbound. · To update conformance spreadsheet as necessary. · Complete weekly stock checks. · Daily update Depot Query Log (DQL) and resolve queries. · Attend DQL call if required and answer any queries arising from it. · Support the Returns process and administration when required · To ensure all handling of finished products comply with Legislative, Company & Customer requirements. · Escalate to the Warehouse Management Team any issues that are likely to affect the performance of the department, site or relationship with the customer. · To attend training courses when required. · To comply with Quality, Health and Safety procedures and to ensure a safe working environment for self and others. · Flexibility for Admin support when required of transport operations · Any other duties considered necessary to fulfil the role. · Undertaking direct training of colleagues when required. · Flexible working patterns will be required. Experience, skills and attributes: Essential Desirable · excellent team building and motivational skills. · Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage own time. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills and well-developed presentation skills. · Confident and fully competent in the use of Microsoft office applications (e.g., Word/Excel/Outlook). · Able to build rapport rapidly and effectively with internal and external colleagues. · Some physical lifting and carrying required as part of this role.
