As a carer with Draycott Nursing & Care you will help with the day-to-day care of our clients in their homes, assisting with personal care, meal preparation & serving, daily activities, care plans and lots more.

What is Domiciliary care?
Simply this is care provided in the client home. As a Draycott carer you will provide care according to the client’s specific diagnosis and needs.
Duties will include:
1. Communicating effectively with the client and building strong lasting relationships
2. Working closely with the wider Draycott Head Office support team to ensure the best service for our clients
3. Keeping accurate, factual written accounts of your time with the client via our care management app
4. An awareness of the client’s emotional and spiritual needs
5. Observing and following Draycott Nursing’s Health and Safety policy

Experience:
1. Ideally we would ask for a minimum of 6 months’ professional care experience such as a domiciliary carer, we would also welcome those with experience as a live-in carer, care assistant, support worker or personal healthcare assistant or similar.
2. We would also consider those who may have recent experience of providing personal care for an adult friend or family member including washing, bathing and toileting.
3. Flexible availability to work some weekends.
4. Must be willing and able to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as a mandatory requirement (or show proof of being current on the Update Service).
5. Must be eligible to work in the UK without the requirement of company sponsorship.
