Bank Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker
We are looking for a conscientious, hard-working, caring person to join our team as a Bank Senior Radiology Clinical Support Worker across the Health Board.
It is essential that you enjoy working with people and have great communication skills. You must have patience and be methodical, work well in a team but have the ability to take initiative and work individually.
This post is a bank position. Shifts may include working long days and weekends.
Main duties of the job
You may be offered shifts across the 4 sites including Withybush, Glangwili, Prince Phillip and Bronglais Hospitals. As part of this dedicated, friendly and supportive team, you will be expected to assist clinical staff during examinations rotating through multiple areas within Radiology. You will assist with scans, be directly involved with patient care, maintain the unit's stock and perform other general duties.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Knowledge
* Level 3 qualification in relevant healthcare subject, or possess the equivalent skills, knowledge and experience with a commitment to undertake on the job training to NVQ level 3 accreditation.
* Understanding of the role of radiographic support workers
* Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
* Knowledge of clinical work
Experience
* Previous experience of working with the public in paid or voluntary roles
* Experience of using computers
* Experience in supportive/assistant role, such as Radiology Support Worker or Healthcare Support Worker, working within a hospital/caring environment
* Experience in a range of clinical skills, including aseptic techniques
Other
* Ability to move and handle equipment and assist with manual handling of patients
* Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
