The Role:
We are looking for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in ensuring our environment is safe, functional, and compliant. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners. Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail will be key in resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
The coordinator will work closely with the Facilities Team to ensure full compliance with Health and Safety at work, supporting with regular inspections and addressing safety concerns. The role will involve work activities in the plant room and working outside to supervise maintenance. The coordinator will on occasion be required to provide cover for the Reception Desk.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage maintenance schedules for all facilities, ensuring regular upkeep and timely repairs.
* Receive, prioritise maintenance work orders, and work with the Facilities Manager to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of all services.
* Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Order new supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and usage.
* Gather and maintain all FM infrastructure assets for direct upload and ongoing management with the CMMS software package.
* Assist Facilities Manager with preparation of the maintenance budget. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
* Coordinate emergency maintenance and repair activities and ensure effective communication and resolution.
* Transport and logistics support: provide holiday and sickness cover as required.
* The Facilities Team works flexibly, supporting the Global Technology Centre’s maintenance activities and therefore there will be occasional work activities required outside of set working hours.
