Neonatal support worker (NSW) – Band 3
Special interest in infant feeding and supporting Baby Friendly Initiative lead (BFI).
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Neonatal Support Worker or Maternity support worker with an interest in infant feeding to join our team.
We are a 24-cot Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, level 3, within the Cheshire and Mersey Neonatal Network. providing care for infants and their families from 22 weeks and above.
The successful candidate will be working with the Baby Friendly initiative lead (BFI) and supporting women and families to ensure a range of designated patient duties to include the recording of patient details/records.
If successful in this role, there is a requirement for you to have a Enhanced DBS. This will be paid for by the Trust and then deducted from your salary over a period of 3 months.
As this vacancy is within the division of Womens and Childrens, there is a mandatory requirement for successful applicants to join the DBS update service. The cost of joining the update service is £13 per year, and applicants are liable to cover this cost with no reimbursement from the Trust. Further details of how to join the update service will be provided upon appointment.
