The Successful Service Technician / Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer will carry out commissioning, fault finding, repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment, PLC & drive systems.
The Service Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Service Engineer / Crane Engineer will ideally be based in Northern Ireland.

Responsibilities:
* Perform commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of cranes and lifting equipment at client sites, including ports and harbours.
* Carry out commissioning, fault finding, repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment, PLC & drive systems.
* Electrical component installation.
* Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulic and mechanical systems and equipment.
* Oversee the commissioning, maintenance, inspection, and servicing of various client mechanical equipment.
* Assist in identifying and procuring spare parts as needed.
* Generate clear, factual reports documenting all tasks and outcomes.
* Engage in rigging and lift planning activities.
* Adhere to all site Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
* Mitigate any potential environmental risks during tasks, ensuring all safety measures are applied, particularly in offshore settings.
* Travel outside the UK and Ireland as required to support other departments or for training purposes.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Service Electrician, Service Technician, Service Engineer, Crane Technician, Crane engineer, Hydraulic Engineer, Electrical Engineer or similar.
* Working within the marine, port & harbour crane industry. Preferably on Liebherr, Gottwald and Kalmar is an advantage.
* Commissioning and fault finding on electro-mechanical and/or hydro-mechanical systems.
* Work at heights.
* A technical electrical/ hydraulic qualification, apprentice trained, HNC,HND, degree or equivalent would be advantageous.
* Full UK driving license.
