What will you be doing? The successful candidate will join a friendly and busy County Planning, Mineral and Waste team determining planning applications made by the County Council for its own development which will include proposals for new infrastructure, such as new schools. You may also be dealing with planning applications for mineral and waste management development (training will be given). Cambridgeshire is a rapidly growing area with major new development planned, including new settlements and you will be responsible for a range of planning applications and so will have good report writing, organisation and time management skills, as well as an eye for detail. About you You will be enthusiastic, positive and proactive with a planning or related degree, and have a strong work ethic, and either already be working towards achieving the MRTPI standard or be prepared to start on the journey to acquire your planning Masters degree.
