The PMO Manager will work with Project and Programme Managers throughout the organisation to improve project management standards and drive successful project delivery. As PMO Manager you will maintain and develop frameworks and standards for programme and project management at WWF-UK. You will create and deliver training and other support materials to ensure PMs have the skills to deliver high quality projects. You will ensure robust project plans are in place for all WWF-UK projects and will then advise on issue resolution when needed during project delivery. You will oversee project health-check monitoring across the organisation and use that to identify where improvements are needed in our project management practice. You will carry out project evaluations, and ensure lessons learned are shared across our organisation. Important will be the ability to identify organisational blockers to effective project management and lead change efforts to resolve these. You will also lead a team of PMO Project Managers to deliver urgent and critical projects, as well as to maintain and develop PMO services in support of our wider strategic delivery. We’re looking for someone with: Experience as a PMO manager. Significant experience delivering successful projects throughout the full lifecycle. Ability to take ownership and solve complex problems. Experience training, mentoring or developing Project and Programme Managers. Excellent communication, influencing & interpersonal skills. Desire to embrace and encourage collaborative working.
