Job Description
Provide competent health and safety advice and guidance to elected members, managers, and key partners operating in a proactive manner with autonomy and responsibility for the full range of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing practice areas, including developing policies, strategies, and initiatives, and carrying out investigations, inspections, and audits; to identify and develop training in order to assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.

The Individual
This is a permanent full-time post with an admin base at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 hours per week as follows: Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm.
The full-time salary for this post is between £44,390 - £47,083 per annum.
The workstyle for this post is Mobile - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. Able to work at different/multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home or another location. It is expected that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
