Responsibilities
1. Maintain accurate records for materials, certifications, and regulatory compliance while managing storage and customs processes.
2. Evaluate and monitor supplier performance to ensure cost efficiency, reliability, and timely delivery.
3. Negotiate contracts to optimize value and meet quality and inspection requirements.
4. Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and integrate sustainability.
5. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement risk management initiatives, including supplier diversification.
6. Ensure adherence to all regulatory, health, and safety standards within the supply chain.
7. Lead safety initiatives, incident reporting, and corrective action processes to maintain compliance.
8. Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing, safety-conscious team, fostering professional growth.
9. Monitor and manage team performance metrics, driving accountability and excellence.
10. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to forecast demand and plan supply chain activities.
11. Act as a key advisor to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
Person Specification
1. Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Proven experience in supply chain management, ideally within the aviation or a related technical industry.
3. Proficiency in supply chain systems, strong negotiation skills, and analytical ability to monitor supplier performance and market trends.
4. Demonstrated experience in team leadership, with an ability to motivate and guide teams in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.
5. In-depth understanding of supply chain regulations and industry standards, including health, safety, and environmental requirements.
