Job Description
You will be required to be responsible for your own varied and diverse caseload within the Probate and Private Client Department working alongside our STEP and Lifetime Lawyers accredited Director.
Your workload will include probate matters, inheritance tax and estate planning, wills, the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
Applications will also be considered for those with experience in dealing with contentious probate matters.
Whilst you will be expected to work on your own initiative, you will be supported by the Head of the Private Client Department with whom you will be able to consult whenever support is required.
You will develop a good working relationship with local accountants, financial advisors, estate agents and valuers to enable you to liaise with them effectively for the benefit of our clients.
You will also be encouraged to identify any further training or qualifications you may wish to undertake to enhance your professional development which will be funded by the firm and supported by your colleagues.

Personal Specification
1. Applications will be considered from solicitors at all levels of experience but preferably with at least 1 year PQE dealing with private client matters
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
3. Establish and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and empathy.
4. Proven ability to manage a varied caseload while delivering exceptional client service.
5. Ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to work on your own initiative and make decisions.
