Sales Administrator
Monday to Thursday - 8:30am - 5:15pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm
1 hour for lunch every day.
Salary: £26,000
Location: Rugby
Holidays:
25 days plus bank holidays (3-4 days Christmas shutdown to be taken as mandatory holidays).
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate would have experience in sales administration, customer service, or internal sales for a manufacturer or distributor. The candidate should be able to cross-sell and up-sell while communicating effectively and reacting quickly and accurately, as all orders received by lunchtime that are in stock go out the same day for next-day delivery.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Sales Office Manager under the supervision of the Team Leader. The position involves direct contact with all members of the sales administrator team, field-based sales team, other office and warehouse colleagues, along with the Directors.
Day-to-Day Duties:
* Be the first point of contact for customers (telephone calls and emails), offering excellent customer service.
* Process orders and quotations.
* Answer product questions, advising on product features, pricing, and availability.
* Resolve general customer queries, escalating to Team Leader if necessary.
* Carry out Telesales campaigns (soft calls to existing customers).
* Manage daily invoicing.
* Monitor time-critical orders, relaying information on any delays.
* Gain product knowledge throughout training.
* Act as the point of contact for customers regarding invoicing queries.

* 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to cross-sell and up-sell.
* Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
* Approachable team player.
* Attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task.
