Sales Administrator
Monday to Thursday - 8.30am - 5.15pm; Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm
1 hour for lunch every day.
Salary: £26,000
Location: Rugby
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays (3-4 days Christmas shutdown to be taken as mandatory holidays).
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate would have experience in sales administration, customer service, or internal sales for a manufacturer or distributor. Ability to cross-sell and up-sell while communicating effectively is essential. Orders received by lunchtime that are in stock will be processed for next day delivery.
Reporting Structure: Reporting directly to the Sales Office Manager under the supervision of the Team Leader. The role involves direct contact with all members of the sales administrator team, field-based sales team, other office and warehouse colleagues, along with the Directors.
Day to Day Duties:
* Being the first point of contact with customers (telephone calls and emails) offering excellent customer service.
* Processing orders and quotations.
* Answering product questions, advising on product features, pricing, and availability.
* Resolving general customer queries, escalating to Team Leader if necessary.
* Carrying out Telesales campaigns (soft calls to existing customers).
* Daily invoicing.
* Monitoring time-critical orders and relaying information on any delays.
* Gaining product knowledge throughout training.
* Point of contact for customers regarding invoicing queries.

* 3 years of experience in a similar role.
* Experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to cross-sell and up-sell.
* Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
* Approachable and a team player.
* Attention to detail, organized, and able to multi-task.
