We are a highly regarded business operating in the Chocolate industry based in Polegate, who are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their well established and friendly team. Ideally you would have 2 – 3 years’ experience in an accounts department with knowledge of Sage 50 accounts. A 'can do’ attitude is also key for this role as well as strong communication skills. Job duties of the Finance Assistant are: Credit control – chasing outstanding payments Bank and cash reconciliations Processing a range of invoices, credit notes, coding and matching to the system. EDI Invoicing Liaising internally and with customers regarding invoice queries. Allocating and processing payments Ad hoc finance administration Process purchase ledger and sales ledger documents Play a supportive role in preparation for audits Skills and experience required for the Finance Assistant role are: Team player Eye for detail Friendly approach Excellent communication skills Experience working in a finance or accounting role Ability to commute to offices on a daily basis Confident using Microsoft Excel and Sage 50 Accounts Company benefits include: 20 days holiday plus BH, On site free parking, Pension, Xmas shut down (out of holiday entitlement).
