Here at ClwydAlyn, we are looking to recruit Day Care Practitioners to join our Care Home team at Chirk Court. We have vacancies for both full and part-time roles.
The posts are on a permanent basis in our Care Home in Wrexham.

With over 30 years of experience providing care and support, Chirk Court has extended its services to meet the needs of residents living with dementia. A purpose-built modern care home with adaptive technology and systems to support residents and staff working to support individuals.
What The Role Involves
1. To actively support the day-to-day delivery of care and ensure the provision of good quality, safe, supported accommodation empowering vulnerable people with mental health challenges to live as independently as possible.
2. To be part of a team and work with the care practitioners and other staff in ensuring that all residents' individual care plans are regularly maintained to a high standard, as required by our regulatory body.
3. To effectively support residents and complete care duties, be competent in care delivery completion and care planning via the use of IT systems.
4. Flexibility to work unsocial hours and weekends is essential, where required.
5. The successful candidate will demonstrate a flexible working approach, have a positive and proactive personality, and be able to overcome challenges and difficult situations whilst achieving positive outcomes.
Skills And Qualifications Required For The Role
1. Minimum NVQ/QCF Level 2 or a willingness to work towards this in Health and Social Care Registration with Social Care Wales once completed.
2. Effective Communication Skills (written & oral) are essential.
3. Use of computers and technology to input information and access care planning - Training and support will be provided.
4. The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
5. Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
6. For this role, you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
