Job Title: Statutory and tax reporting analyst

Role Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated Statutory and tax reporting analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of month-end reporting tasks, provide ad hoc support for the controlling community and Shared Service Center (SSC) in Manchester (RTR, AR, AP), assist with audits, support the revenue recognition process, and complete local surveys for entities across EMEA.
Key responsibilities:
1. Raising daily, weekly and monthly invoices from across the group - a combination of automated and manual invoicing depending on complexity of the customer
2. Provide ad hoc support to the controlling community, including Record to Report (RTR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
3. Assist in resolving discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
4. Work closely with the SSC Manchester team to support various financial operations.
5. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
6. Support the revenue recognition testing during the group audit
7. Support the revenue recognition process, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
8. Collaborate with stakeholders to accurately recognize and report revenue.
9. Complete and submit local surveys and reports for entities across the EMEA region.
10. Gather necessary data and ensure accuracy in all submissions.
Key requirements:
11. PQ/Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant
12. Strong finance foundation (5+ years experience)
13. Experience of working to strict deadlines and perform all tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
14. Experience of supporting multiple country/unit based markets
15. Experience of working with auditors and external advisors
16. Experience of co-ordinating audit deliverables
17. Business level English essential
18. Experience with IFRS 15 revenue recognition preferred
