Project Manager (Delivery)

We have developed a methodology for designing, building and renovating spaces for both educational and commercial which is disrupting how the industry works. Traditionalists, watch out. We are a small and fast-growing business that works with private schools and unis to design and develop their buildings, fit for a 21st century education, along with other headline commercial projects.
You will report to Commercial Manager and will be joining an 8-person team (2 Pre-Con, 3 Furniture, 3 Delivery). TaskSpace have 22+ staff based at our Leighton Buzzard Head Office.
Core package
1. £55-75k per annum, dependant on experience
2. Full time Primarily office based with national travel on occasion
3. Hours to suit candidate, approximately 8am to 5pm, option for hybrid working for discussion after probationary period
4. 20 days holiday plus the 8 recognised bank holidays

6. Company profit share scheme once probation completed (Growth By Sharing – you will get an uncapped % of extra annual pay, paid quarterly, once the company profits reach a point of business sustainability and continue to grow through the year.
Our vision for this role is for you to be responsible for “Perfect Delivery” of projects assigned to you, from contract award through to implementation on site, and getting involved during the design process:
1. Assisting with compilation of Scope and Specification
2. Assisting with compilation of costings, including site visits & trade sourcing/quoting
3. Compilation of construction program (part of contract)
4. “Perfect Delivery”
5. Obtaining, instructing and co-ordinating trades and suppliers
6. Risk assessment, mitigation & compliance, including H&S
7. Client Relations - Leading client delivery interaction & regular reporting
8. Stakeholder Liaison - Landlords, Agents, QS, Legal, 3rd Parties
9. Project Cost Control (including Variations) & Financial Reporting
Key Skills and Experience
1. A tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Architecture.
2. Proven track record in Design and Build processes, with expertise in delivering high-quality commercial or education fit-out projects.
3. Over 5 years of construction management experience, particularly within the workplace or commercial sectors.
4. Strong ability to manage client relationships and foster long-lasting partnerships.
5. Confident leadership and communication skills, with expertise in coordinating project teams and engaging stakeholders effectively.
6. Solid financial acumen and experience in managing project budgets to ensure successful delivery.
