Evidence of continuing professional development Ideally an accredited project manager - NEC, ECC or in the process of working toward accreditation Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook with Excel to advanced level of proficiency Ensure appropriate stages of project(s) comply with Management of Contractors Direction. Ensure that all parties are aware of obligations under Construction Design Management (CDM) Regulations 2015. Develop project budget proposals, cost plan and the cash flow and where appropriate work in conjunction with the Finance team. Ensure that the plan is constantly updated and reflects changes in the project. Facilitate project meetings, prepare minutes taken and produce regular reports on all aspects of the project including budget, cost reporting, programme and progress, risk, safety and quality issues etc. Monitor performance of project suppliers (internal and external) in the deliverables of the project and their compliance with specified requirements and health and safety. Report any concerns to the Contracts Manager. Manage project risk using defined risk management systems. Escalate significant risk related issues to appropriate management. Ensure that environmental and heritage issues are considered at all project phases in conjunction with the Sustainability team. Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role Previous experience of working with Construction Professionals, Contractors and Engineering Consultants – in a Water/Canals environment. Good communication skills A full UK driving licence.
