Fusion exists so that every student has the opportunity to find hope in Jesus and home in the local church during their time at university. This role sits within the Operations and Communications Team, at the heart of the Fusion movement in equipping the church for student mission. We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to lead and develop our digital content and communications strategy. Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role will take strategic leadership over partner and stakeholder communications, build our digital ministry presence, develop cross-cutting campaigns and manage web and social content, and marketing strategies. The role includes line management of one Social Media Content Creator.
Ministry Partnership Development is a key part of this role, as the successful candidate will cover 50% of their salary through a team of partners who give financially to Fusion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic leadership
1. Lead partner and stakeholder communications, ensuring consistency and alignment with Fusion’s vision across channels and content, including delivery of Storybrand messaging.
2. Develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy across web and social media to support Fusion’s mission.
3. Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team on key marketing strategies and campaigns.
4. Act as relationship lead to work with external agencies and contractors.
5. Sharpen messaging and communications strategies for Fusion in engaging with different audience segments.
6. Line management responsibility for the Social Media Content Creator.
7. Develop and deliver messaging for key campaigns throughout the year, including fundraising.
8. Coach, train and support team members in campaigns they are leading or seeking to develop.
9. Initiate and lead new campaigns to help grow the audience and reach of Fusion.
10. Generate creative content targeted for specific audiences, campaigns and platforms.
Grow participation
1. Collect and share student mission stories that demonstrate the impact of Fusion’s mission.
2. Grow the number of mailing list subscribers for Fusion and employ creative techniques to maximize reach and engagement on social media.
3. Lead on bespoke and seasonal campaigns for fundraising and partner raising.
4. Collaborate with other Fusion team members and external partners to develop resources.
5. Effectively communicate the benefits and value of our products or services to churches and key stakeholders.
6. Contribute to the increased publicity and sales of Fusion resources.
General
1. Participate in prayer meetings and lead team prayers and devotionals.
2. Raise 50% of salary through Ministry Partnership Development.
3. Communicate regularly with ministry partners including prayer points.
4. Equip ministry partners to pray, advocate and champion student mission.
5. Extend ongoing invitations to new people to join your MPD team.
6. Allocate 10% of your time to maintaining partner support.
