Job Overview
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Radiology (Breast) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) to commence from 06 August 2025 until 04 August 2026.
Main Duties of the Job
1. Specialist Breast Imaging (80%): The successful candidate will have the opportunity to obtain 1 year highly specialist training in Breast Imaging at Cambridge Breast Unit. The breast service is provided by a cohesive, highly motivated, multidisciplinary team. The Unit treats approximately 500 breast cancers per annum (approximately 5,000 symptomatic patients referral each year and 20,000 screening patients including high risk screening). Patients and the management of all breast disease is driven by unit guidelines, and all patients are considered for local and national clinical trials. The Unit has the latest imaging technology including Tomosynthesis, Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography (CESM), elastography, and MRI guided biopsy.
2. General Radiology Sessions (20%): Reporting chest and body CT. The post holder will also be expected to participate in the Senior Radiology Registrar on-call rota, currently a full shift pattern, albeit with Consultant supervision.
Minimum Requirements
In order to be considered, applicants must meet the essential criteria stated in the job description and have:
1. Completed a minimum of five years of training as a Specialty Registrar in Radiology in the UK or equivalent and hold the FRCR.

Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
