Key Responsibilities: Performs service and repair for instruments returned by customers for periodic service, repair and re-calibration. This may include electronic fault finding, mechanical dis-assembly / reassembly and complete instrument testing. To plan and prioritise the day to day workload to ensure efficient use of resource. Document's and performs all work in accordance with company policies and standard operating procedures. To collaborate closely with various departments involved in the service work to ensure efficient performance. Using our business management system software. Performs other related duties assigned by management. Qualifications / Experience: GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths Grade C or above. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and strong general computer skills. Practical mechanical ability. PCB handling and repairs along with soldering experience. Good analytical thinking. Dynamic, pro-active approach to the workload. Good planning skills with the ability to work to critical timelines. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Flexible to the requirements of the job.
