This role is sits within expense and business partnering team, supporting the Head Office and central functions, along with supporting Quilter Business Services and the Head Office legal entities As the Finance Business Partner, you will work closely the Head of Expenses & Business Partnering and key business stakeholders, providing high quality analysis, insight, and decision support. This role provides an excellent overview of how Quilter works and offers progression paths, both inside finance and within the business. Key activities responsibilities include: Reporting and provision of information and analysis delivered to senior stakeholders to challenge and drive decision-making. Providing analysis in support of the commercial proposition of the business, and leading on financial business cases Delivery of the annual business plan and ongoing forecasting of financial results Play a key role in the annual business planning and forecasting cycles, working closely with functional stakeholders to ensure submissions are robust, timely and in line with Group expectations. Performing analytical review on results with qualitative commentary. Understanding variances between actual, forecast, and budget performance. Identify value opportunities needing intervention or project support from the Business Partner team. Undertake major performance interventions if required and review impact. Respond to and proactively seek opportunities for efficiency to drive better decision making around resource allocation and budget setting. Continuously developing corrective actions to close gaps to targets and work towards optimisation, providing insight and explanation to stakeholders. About You The successful candidate: Prior Business Partnering experience, ideally within financial services and one of the key Affluent business functions Strong interpersonal and relationship management capability, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a large and complex set of stakeholders. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, you will need to use Excel at an intermediate level as a minimum and have strong presentation skills. Experience in the identification of risks and opportunities in the P&L as well as experience in driving P&L performance improvements. Comfortable working at pace with agility and have an analytical mindset, using data and metrics to drive action. Delivery focused, have strong commercial acumen and exhibit credibility, professionalism, and integrity as well as a great negotiator, influencer, and leader.
